It's Tuesday, it's snowing, I'm sewing
Well it looks like there's quite a lot of us who'll be affected by today's storm. Snow I can deal with by now -- please no ice! I like my trees in an upright position, thank you.
But I'm ready for some marathon sewing time. Hubby's working from home, I've got food and wine for a week  , so let it snow!!
I've got to pull my sewing machine out again -- and find my project. But my room is so clean now that I look forward to making it a little messy. Hope you all have a good day!!

Good morning all - glad to hear that you have things covered Peg - especially the wine and food! It is actually a cold brisk morning here in the NW and the sun is shining with a beautiful blue sky background. Hope all of you who have the storm warnings are able to stay warm and have electricity and enjoy the storm from inside.
Need to pay bills and then get back to some "rippit - rippit" on a small table topper that I am not happy with the machine quilting. It was for a Janome 6500 6600 7700 challenge and I finished it and then decided to take out 3/4 of the stitching.
I wish my room was clean like your's Peg - do you want to come to the sunny NW and help me organize it? Before Christmas, the fabric was flying in that room and unfortunately, it is a real eyesore.

This is a test, I repeat a test. Just went through the info on adding my signature (great directions, Margo - thanks ) but I am not sure if I did it right so will post this and see if (or what :?: ) it shows up.
Well, looks like it didn't work - any suggestions?

Well we are being blasted with snow as I type. We are supposed to get an additional 10 inches out of this storm today. Then tonight and tomorrow we are expected to get even more. The kids came home from school early and now I am just worried about my DS and DDIL getting home from work safely. The wind is blowing so hard we are very close to a whiteout situation. I plan to spend tomorrow just sewing. We will see what it shall bring.

I am happy this storm is completely missing us! Sorry for you all that are getting it.....stay in and warm and safe if you can! Sewed all day on a vest I am making.... should finish it up tomorrow...its a quik little project but I don't do garments very often anymore so it takes me awhile to get out of the quilter mode and back into the "seamstress" mode! LOL My son's GF is a horse lover so I fused a silhouette of a horse on the back of one side of the reversible vest...this way, she can be fun or serious cuz its a nice color she can wear for going out or something also.
Have a great evening all!

Currently 18 degrees and snowing hard here in MA, no wind or drifting. We are a border town on the MA/NH state line. Got about 5" yesterday, and abouta fresh 5 or 6" on the deck this morning. No loss of power so far....Amen! Planning to work on some birthday swap blocks until it lets up enough to shovel. Stay warm and safe everyone!

Of course you and I know that is because you were visiting snowy Massachusetts (and me) that day. Wish you would come up her and take some home with you. We are disappearing in the white stuff. Can hardly see the front of my house when you drive up. Everyone is out shoveling their roofs so they won't cave in. Crazy!

Yeah,
I need to change that picture and put in a Mississippi one!
Or one from the beach at Gulf Shores, Al.
Although, I wouldn't want to get into the water now.
But in March and April we do come alive with flowers and baby birds.
