Wednesday Morning
Since no one started a post for Wednesday morning, let me be the first!! This never happens!!
We dodged the snow again and only got an inch with a little icing in Northern Virginia. Thank goodness!! I'm still in shock over the hugh amount of snow we received last winter.
I am patiently waiting for my "quilting mojo" to return. I have two quilts that I need to finish for my brothers for their 50th birthday in March. They are identical twins! For Christmas I decided to try my hand at making jewelry for my friends and family. Most of them have already received quilts to I decided to try something different this year. I absolutely love it!! Although quilting is and will always be my "first love" I love how fast the jewelry projects go by. And, it's something I can do at night while watching TV with hubby.
Hope all of you have a safe and healthy day.
Take care,

Morning Donna and Everyone!
This morning I take my mom's cat in for blood tests and then definately need to give the house a good "once over." After that the afternoon is mine to quilt away! I WANT to get these mittered boarders done but SHOULD figure out backing for this baby quilt top that needs basting.
Hope everyone has a beautiful day!
Happy Stitching,

Good morning to all -- the people who know us and our new quilting friends. I'm still watching the snow fall here near the Sound in Connecticut. must be a foot out there right now - just saw a guy go by on a snowski--that's unusual for my neighborhood. It sure is pretty -- but, of course, we have no snowblower -- so it'll be a challenge to clear out the driveway. And aren't we lucky that we also bought a house that has sidewalks! My dd who lives in Albany loves to come here because her kids can ride their bikes on the sidewalks which she doesn't have at her house. I wish she was here this morning
But it definitely is a day for sewing -- I hope to get going on the next part of the mystery quilt I'm doing. 600 hs triangles -- oh joy! But I've already looked at the finished product and it will be a cool quilt. Hope you all have a great day!

I also am happy that there will be daily messages. I always made a stop to find out how things were going with everyone.
Didn't post much, probably won't here either, but it is just part of the start of my day.
My name on the QTW board was Carol, IA, which is where I live.
I was checking out AA's board each day before she had to close it. I was so glad to see another come in it's place.
The reason I am telling you this, is because I will have a different name on this one. It's left over from AA days.
Everybody have a great day!!!!!From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

It's my DH"s birthday toay so I don't know how much is going to get done. Lot's of baking and cooking. I am continuing to organize those quilt magazines. I am now through 2004. Many more years to go. It is fun to relook at all the different pattens. I even found one I want to do for guild this year for my PMS block. yeah me. Other than that it is basketball and just trying to clean up the house too for me. Have a great day everyone. Peggy good luck on those half square triangles. I have a few I need to do to, but probably not today. I also am glad to have the daily thread as I loved it and it truly was a part of my every day.
Have a great day everyone and enjoy the snow

Good Morning, All. Today I am prepping for a medical procedure tomorrow, so am trying to get myself into a "comfort zone". No sewing today, maybe a little reading then DGD is coming this afternoon. We usually do something "crafty" (she's 9), but may have her read to me, do homework, and discuss life. We'll see. She's pretty creative when it comes to finding fun things to do. Hope all have a wonderful day....From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

Now i'm putting on some tea and heading to the sewing room. 600 hs triangles -- Here I come!!!From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

I too live in northern VA and am VERY grateful we didn't have much snow this round. We had enough snow last winter to last several years! My thoughts are with those of you who ARE having much more snow than you ever want to deal with. Cheers.

Donna, if you read this thread: http://forum/i-need-quilting-related...jos-gone-again
and this one: http://forum/i-need-quilting-related...-from-the-soul
They address what you're feeling right now. I had no mojo whatsoever and my family here helped me find it and get excited about quilting again.
Hope this helps,

Good afternoon everyone, coming from sunny (but getting cold) Florida. I heard today that we are the only state out of 50 that doesn't have some snow. I hope everyone is staying warm. My work computer has been out most of the day so I'm going to hit the road and go home and hopefully start tomorrow out better.
