Be sure to let the starch dry completely before pressing.
You might also try starching a hunk of fabric before cutting... -

Margo--Thanks for the welcome and a huge thanks for the links to the tutorials. I know this will make it much easier for me to learn to like this forum. This may be a dumb question because it might have been staring at me and I missed it. Are the help topics front and foremost when you first sign up? With these tips I see where I will be able to set a home page to make it easier for my navigation.

I wish they were, Agnes, but when we switched to this new format last summer, I was lost! I sort of found my own way around and wrote the tips which can be found near the bottom of the main Board Index under the dark blue subtopic titled: THE TQS WEBSITE/FORUM QUESTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS.

Personally, I think the colors of the sub topics make it difficult to read, but hopefully these tips will help people learn to navigate the forum.
