Valerie, beautiful Christmas stockings, love the natural color of the fabric and the intricate feathers--well deserved recognition to you and all who have come away with ribbons! Valerie, maybe we can stop calling you Pumpkin after the fall season?

Janet, I see your quilt is called 'No L' - is it a Christmas quilt? Is it the First No-L quilt? Anyway, congratulations on the big win.

Valerie, Those Christmas stockings are just lovely. Very beautiful.

Rita, Are you wondering how many No-L's their might be? Interesting?

Thank you so much Rosemary and Wendy!!! I am over the moon! I will post a photo of my miniature Emerald Tapestry as soon as it comes back - I don't have a great overall photo other than the one I used for entry, and it's hard to see the detail from the shots from the show.

Wow, I am simply bowled over by the talent on the TQS Forum!

Janet, you have created yet another visually stunning and highly original masterpiece! And if that weren't enough, you are a seemingly endless fount of clever wordplay! "No L", indeed! Congratulations on your best of show, so richly deserved.

Valerie, I follow and enjoy your blog, but had no idea until today that you are a TQS member too! (Where ALL the best quilters hang out!) Your stockings are beautiful, and a real treasure for your children. After all, how often does Santa get to leave his gifts in a PRIZE-WINNING stocking?

Nancy, your quilt is gorgeous! I love the subtle coloration, and the intricacy of the quilting. Be sure to post a picture of it with its ribbon when it comes home. And as for your cash award, I DO hope that you are planning to spend it for quilting stuff!

BJ, Best Surface Design...wow! The judges really hit the nail on the head with that one! It is wonderful to see you be recognized for the thing you do so very well. And quilts in Houston, too! You are on a roll, girl!

Thank you so much for your kind words, this was a really exciting honor! ...and you're right! Sheesh, I'll have to remind the girls every time I hang them that they are award winning decor!! Ha! LOL! I don't know if Santa is allowed to use them anymore to be truthful!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Why don't you post some of those pictures on your profile? If one is chosen for the Picture of the Day, it would be more richy deserved advertising for you.

Help someone. Are pictures of the day posted from profiles or from quilts uploaded to the Gallery?
