Now I have heard of Alex Anderson and Nancy Prince but being a Brit a lot of the other names are unfamiliar to me. I would be grateful for some recommendations as to who you like and why. At the moment I dont have time to google every name.

I explained to DH that paying for these will be much cheaper for him than me attending a show where I might NEED to buy fabric, tools and notions too :wink: :wink: :wink:

Pam, I would definitely sign up for the lecture by Gerald Roy. He is a collector of quilts, has a sharp eye and a profound appreciation for quilts. He also makes quilts. He has a column in Fons and Porters Love of quilting magazine, where he talks about not only the quilts but the things that were happening in the culture when the quilts were made. I recognize some of the other names from the roster at TQS, and some of them I don't recognize at all!
