I have had a wonderful weekend, I managed to watch 19 shows loved them all, even though a few of the videos were "stop, start", which was most annoying, I don't know why this is as most of them were ok, I joined TQS at series 5 so watched as many 1 to 4 as I could
I thought 101 Joe Cunningham was most entertaining and Jane Sassamans quilts were fabulous. Bonnie McCaffrey 205, Susan Cleveland 109, Elsie Cambell 407, all were wonderful I wish I could have watched them all (I would have had to stay up all night)
Thank you TQS for a great weekend
More please

As someone who has been a TQS member since the beginning, I can watch all of the shows, but still buy the DVDs so that I can watch them again on my tv. For newer members I strongly recommend that you purchase the previous series that you dont have access to. The dvds are reasonably priced for the number of shows in each series. Every single show is great! There is something to learn from all of them. They are of the same great quality with excellent teachers as the shows we are now watching. Whilst you may not be able to afford all the the dvds at once, my DH buys them for me at Christmas and my birthday. TQS rocks!!
In leafy Berkshire, south of England.

Hi Pam,
I have been wary about buing the DVDs as I live in Surrey UK and wondered if they would be compatable but I see that you live in Berkshire and if they are ok for you then I will order some especially series one with Libby Lehman.
I hope you are enjoying our lovely spring weather
Have a nice weekend

Somewhere along this thread someone mentioned the Joe Cunningham Episode. And although I am no longer a hand quilter (artheritis) I loved the show. In fact, I loved it so much that I got out my Dad's old carpentry tools and made myself a stick frame for basting. I also made the legs to prop them up. I did it partly because I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. That's not happened just since this weekend. I did it a couple of weeks ago. Like some one else, Pam- I think - suggested, since I am only a member for one I am collecting DVD's of past series. What a wealth of information? This discusion leads me to another question. How do the veterans use the site? What has been the best tools? What about TQS has best helped them improve their skills? I think I'll start a new thread so that those who have not been following this one might put in their 2 cents.
