What Shows Have You Watched This Weekend?

I have just watched Episode 304 with Sue Garman and Merrily Parker. Sue Garman is a great and very clear teacher if you are interested in qpplique. I also watched Beth Ferrier (210) which was great for doing machine applique. I plan to watch as many as I can this weekend. What have you watched so far? (I am Mr. Green today because it's St.Patrick's Day and I am Irish.

Wish there wasn't so much going on this weekend so I'd have more time to stream past shows. Its the AQS Show in Lancaster, PA today and I am off on that adventure in about an hour. I am taking two Japanese students with me. I needed to spend time with a very sick DMIL yesterday which also involved a rather long road trip. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, Rita. Isn't this the day for the "wearin' of the green". Looks like you're still in red. Isn't that almost sacrilege? Just askin'? Lois

It's only sacrilege if you are in America. Not something we do here very much. The young people have adopted the silly green or orange wigs etc., but us older folk - no!

Sorry you have had such a lot of driving but I do hope you enjoy Lancaster - wish I could go. Enjoy.

It's the first weekend of March Madness (college national championship basketball tournament) here, so I'm not having as much time as I would have liked to watch episodes. Can't miss the games! But I have watched a couple of episodes. I was just starting at the beginning and seeing whatever I haven't seen yet.

I haven't watched any shows yet because, as Nancy said, we are busy watching March Madness but when it is a game that I am not particularly passionate about, I just put in my headphones and watch a show on my computer. Hope you all have a wonderful quilty day.

What fun, I started yesterday working my way through series 1, all the ones I have not seen and a couple repeats. I have quilting coming out my ears!!! So I've watched six shows so far, wow and as I like to sew while watching TV I have hand pieced a few squares together as well. My creative juices are on overtime - thank yu TQS for opening the shows up

Just got back from a birthday party at a local restaurant. All the staff were wearing green, the serviettes were green and my icecream dessert was decorated with a chocolate 4-leafed clover.

After a hellish week at work I'm off to bed. If I can find the time tomorrow I'll head for the show with Melinda Bula, and the one with Cindy Needham.

It's Mother's Day in the UK this weekend. My present is that DH has taken the girls to visit his parents in Wales and I'm at home - ALONE- and sewing to my heart's content! I've got all the shows already but I've been enjoying browsing. Must check out Melinda Bula, thanks for the reminder Lorchen.

Because of Lorchen's comment I watched Melinda Bula again. I had forgotten how much I loved it. When will we ever have time to try all these wonderful techniques. Lois

I have been hand turning a binding to the back of quilt while watching TQS shows! I am not fond of this task, so watching the shows has made it very enjoyable indeed!

I loved re-watching Cindy Neeham's and Sue Garman's shows. Both of these ladies are so inspirational! I just finished Carol Doak's Paper Foundation Piecing show and found that to be excellent as well. I also enjoyed Elsie Campbell.

After dinner, I will watch a few more shows, perhaps Beth Ferrier and Melinda Bula.

I really enjoyed Judith Baker Montano (201) - I think she lives in Paradise! I really enjoyed watching Ricky show us how to make a Rhapsody quilt(803 + 804). I also watched a little of Liuxin Newman (310) and Sue Garman for hand quilting. There is more but I just can't remember. Yes I was definitely square-eyed by the end of yesterday. Well it was mothers day here in Ireland and what better way to spend it? Thanks TQS
