It would be close and easy if you all met at the museum. You dont have to pay if your just in the lobby... Does the TQS have a button or badge? Maybe everyone should make a "It's a new day every day" hat and wear it so you can recognize each other... :P :P
Maybe you will get your picture on the daily blog page! Hee Hee! Also you could meet at the tree house cafe' it is just east a block or two from the museum...
Or meet by the river flood wall with the cow standing on the upstairs balconey of the house during the flood. I love that flood wall painting...
I wish I could go this year... Have fun all. take lots of pictures but be sure you ask first, you can get into trouble if you take photos with out permission even at the vendor booths.... Also they used to have a place to check in your bags close to the door so you dont have to carry all the stuff you buy all day while you shop I love this, it saved my back because you can not take those bags with wheels, or at least you couldnt the last time I went... I think it only cost a dollar or two for them to watch your stuff for you while you shop and look and spend and buy and go crazy while your in Paducah! I even checked my coat so I didnt have to lug it around all day...
There was a vendor outside that cooked a roast beef and onion sandwich that was to die for it was so good.... they were between the show and the museum, I think the boy scouts or something like that.. about 6 or 7 dollars but huge and oh so very good! Share one with a friend you wont regret it...

Thanks for the suggestions! I will make a badge for myself and will be on the lookout for them as I walk around. I'll only be there for one day this time, but next year a group of five of us are going to spend three or four days at the show, take some classes, etc. And I sure will leave my packages for someone to watch- hauling stuff around makes you too tired to hunt for more treasures!!!

I just received a newsletter from the Tambani project and thought it worth a mention that they will have a stand at Paducah this year selling their wonderful South African embroidery panels. They are not expensive to buy and they are helping African women to make an income. Have a great time at Paducah.

For help with signatures: http://forum/forum-questions-and-sug...s-on-the-forumOriginally posted by NanaPieThanks for the information, Rita. I'll put them on my "do not miss" list. I'm trying to put my signature on my posts . . . . . first try.
Uh oh . . . need some guidance!
Be forewarned...you MUST follow the each step carefully! Most of us had to try a couple of times to get it to look the way we wanted it!
Have fun!
