Margo, my quilt , Mutton But Letters, won Best Machine Quilting. Red Letter Daze won an honorable mention in the machine quilted wall quilts. It was a great show and the competition was pretty amazing. Anyone who had a quilt in the show should feel honored! Sorry you didn't get to go. Hope you get to make it to Houston! I'm counting the days!!Originally posted by MargoI'm not sure who else won ribbons, but Janet Stone's "Mutton But Letters" took overall BEST OF SHOW
and Barbara Black also won a Best of Show ribbon.

I just got home from Des Moines. The quilts were spectacular! I was so happy to meet Cathy Friday morning for a quick hug and hello. My friends and I also met Carol Moellers for breakfast and visiting Saturday morning. I was lucky enough to run into her later at the show for more chatting and picture taking with our quilts. She will be posting some photos or a Smilebox soon. The weekend was great fun and I am "done in"!
