Which shops should I hit in the Omaha area. Only have one day to myself and see there are several. Suggestions please. Thanks.

Violet, I am not from the area, but when I visit my daughter we always go to The Quilted Moose in Gretna. Nice shop and great staff there. Another favorite is Seams To Be Quilt Shoppe in Plattsmouth. I also like the Country Sampler in Papillion. There is one in Omaha, but I have not been to it yet. And check out the Log Cabin Quilt Shop in LaVista. Papillion and LaVista are real close to Omaha. Gretna is alittle west of there, and Plattsmouth is south of Omaha. Of course, I have never found a bad quilt shop! Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions. Those are some of the same I got from another chatroom. Next time you are in Omaha try http://www.countrytraditionsonline.com/ in Freemont. It is an awesome shop and well worth the 30-40 minute drive.Comment
