Sewing and Quilt Expo in Cleveland

    Anyone going?
I went last year (total newbie at the time) and won a door prize -- 3 days admission and 5 class session for this year's Expo.
I took it as a sign that much quilting would be in my future...

I plan on taking a free-motion class with Shiela Finklestein and a felting class with Carol Cypher.
Anyone else going? I'd love to meet other members at the show.

It's the last weekend of March. Are you from around here too?

I'm not from Ohio but I am familiar with the area. I live in Fairmont WV. I have inlaws living in Hopedale OH, my mother was from Salem, and my father used to work for a sales company in Cleveland. I have been on the lookout to go to some shows this year. I know Hopedale is still a few hours from Cleveland, but thats not too bad. I think Cleveland is about a 4 hour drive from here so that is not too bad of a drive either. My big kicker will be if that is a drum corp weekend for my dh (plays with a group in Harrisburg PA) and if my SIL would mind watching at least my youngest I might consider it.

Gisela, I'm also a Clevelander and have gone to the show in the past. I'm still not sure if I can go this year. I hope so. How lucky you were to win a prize. I always stand in the crowd so sure that they will call my name but it never happens. Karen ps I really like your new picture on your profile.

            Gisela,
The quilt show looks great. I'm only an hour away from Cleveland so I'm seriously considering going. Thanks for mentioning it.
            BTW- your quilts are great!
