    New Musical

Has anybody over there heard of the new musical called PADUCAH? They are advertising it here at the moment. It's going to be on in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin before heading to Broadway later in the year. Music: Ricky Tims; Book: Justin Schultz. I can't wait to see it, ordering my tickets today.

    Rita,
Have they picked the female lead yet? The rumors are flying...
I heard it was between you and Margo. We know you can sing and we know Margo can make a sewing machine hum...
As for the male lead...that crazy Cuban Frank, the IRS bowler Keith or Brooklyn Mike?
Me? I'll be in the back of the chorus waving chained pieced flying geese...got the call today this morning I got the part.

The advert in the paper says "Not what your average granny gets up to at Paducah!" and, "Those with pacemakers might want to give this one a miss!" I wasn't available to play the lead for this production but I might be free if it makes it to Broadway.

I turned them down for the lead because I am much more comfortable behind the scenes.

I wasn't selected to be in the production. I guess they know it is hard for me to finish what I start, and they didn't want any drop outs after they got started with rehearsals.
