I know I'm asking for trouble here, but.....

.... I sometimes happily step in where angels fear to tread. I'm just nosy and do care about my favourite hat-wearing guy:

Ricky, how are you? Are you ok now, and are all your bits and pieces back to normal??

Lorchen was exactly correct. I truly was watching Phantom of the Opera tonight - and now I know she's psychic! All is well - still on antibiotics as a precaution.

Sooo have Lorchan and Margo switched sides of the Pond without telling anyone about it.

PS. Lorchan hope you have had a good half term break.

Rosemary, half-term has been a nightmare ..... but a good one. It started with my granddaughter's first birthday, then my son proposed to my granddaughter's mother after 7 years, then my younger son turned 30, and in the middle of all that I had three hospital appointments (nothing dramatic, just important tests withg hours and hours of waiting). Life would have been more relaxing if I had joined Ricky in NY.

I'm very glad that you are feeling better, Ricky. Keep taking the pills and look after yourself. There are almost 80000 TQS members who'd turn up at your front door, insisting to nurse you until you are fit again if you don't behave !

                  Lorchen:
If that doesn't make Ricky want to get all healed up I don't know what will!
Can you imagine the headlines: "LaVeta overrun by 80000 quilters to take care of ONE of their own!"
                  :-D

Lorchen, I hope that all your test results are good and congratulations on having a daughter-in-law to be. You have the joy of finding a mother of the groom outfit. I found mine on the day of the engagement party. Lol. (in the sale at a snip of the original price)

Considering that the population of La Veta is supposed to be less than 1000 people, they really would be overrun.

Cheeky!! Rosemary, right now I don't intend to wear a hat. But we'll see.....

I should start buying lottery tickets, because if I had a few million in the bank I'd treat the kids to have Ricky provide the music at the wedding!
