What is a convergence quilt? What is a chantelle quilt?

What are these? I've never heard of them.

Go to the tool bar, click Alex and Ricky, go onto Ricky's website and check out his gallery. He developed both these styles of quilt. He has an excellent book on convergence quilting and one of his videos shows how to make chantelle quilts. (I think its caveman quilting) Hope this helps. Pam

Pam's answer was great but you can also go to "search" for a quilt and put in convergence in type of quilt or pattern and you will come with many quilts made in this style.

Chantelles don't show up as much as that is really a play on words. Ricky was teaching a class in England and said that tomorrow they would be Show and Tell. At the end of the next days session, someone asked where was Chantelle? Thinking Ricky had meant a person named Chantelle would be there. If you get Ricky's Caveman Quilts DVD you will learn how to make a "chantelle"
