    Lost Puzzle Pieces

Every week I get letters that people doing the puzzle have lost some pieces. I am trying to run down the problem. It may have to do with the monitor. I use a flat screen and a laptop with the new type screen and have never lost a piece. The lost pieces may be happening to people with standard CRT screens. If you have lost a piece, please let me know what kind of screen you have. Someone just wrote me that she lost several pieces. Her computer make up was exactly the same as mine except she had a standard monitor.

I know this is probably a silly question, but have they checked to see that missing pieces aren't actually under the completed puzzle or under the text box in the corner?

I always do the puzzles and have never had any missing pieces, but sometimes a piece can get behind another one or behind the puzzle. You just have to move things around a little bit.I have a flat screen(I guess),it says HPw1907 on it.

I had not originally realized the you can move that box that starts out in the left upper corner. When I have "lost" pieces they are generally under that box. I am trying to remember to move the box around when I first start the puzzle so I can move those pieces out of the way at the beginning.

Relax, John! There are no 'lost' pieces. They just hide under the box in the top left corner.

But there is definitely an idea here for an unusual quilt............ Title: "The Lost Piece".

Hey Lorchen, Sorry I can't give credit to the maker of this quilt, but your comment made me think of a quilt I saw in Houston last year.

I've lost just one piece. No, it wasn't underneath anything else. I have a high-end, extra-wide flat screen.

It happened to me this week for the first time - I was missing a corner and couldn't find it anywhere :-) Oh well, I still enjoyed the puzzle.
