    Stars?

Did I miss something? I thought Alex was in the middle of demonstrating quilting designs/feathers, etc. and then was going to show how to transfer onto the fabric - and now it's stars. My poor old brain can't take jumping around. LOL Please go back I am in the middle of a project that is waiting for each step.

    Thanks, Sharon

In the road trip show when they were talking about the LeMoyre(?) Star she said that would be a good thing to show on in her Classroom. I love learning how to make feathers.

I have been waiting for all the videos to watch them together. Just seeing what Alex has done so far is incredible. I hope she goes back to the feathers too.

How do you resist watching them? As soon as I see there is a video I have to look right away.

Because it is hard for me to wait until the next one. If I wait now I get to see them all at the same time. Does that make sense at all?

I guess it's the same waiting but a bigger reward at the end. You have more restraint than I have. I'm always happy to find an author that I enjoy that has already written several books so I don't have to wait for the next one to get written. It works for awhile till you get caught up and then you wait.

In Alex's blog she says she has the two classes running, so I think we wil be seeing more feathers and quilt designs. Can't wait, but now also can ejoy her stars.

Did you all notice Alex's centers of the LeMoyne stars? They're perfect! I've got a signed copy of her book about stars--I'll have to get it out and follow the videos. She has my complete admiration with those perfect centers!

Okay I was ignoring the stars classes -- thinking they are nice but wouldn't be trying them anytime soon -- so I am working on my Dear Jane and guess what the next block was -- yep the Lemoyne Star -- so I swallowed my pride and watched the classes. The block is only a 5" block and it turned out good. The points are doing what they are supposed to do and it isn't a tent.

So I have learned a new lesson here with my tail between my legs. LOL

Hope you are all having a good day -- don't laugh to hard at me.
