Still playing catch up but better late than never, I will be there on the Saturday and may also be able to go on the Friday too but will have to wait and see. Thanks Pam for the info about the meet and greet at Pippa's stand at 1pm each day it would be great to meet other TQS members.

Ali, I got a message from the organizers saying that the actual exhibition halls are a 'no go area' on Tuesday and Wednesday because of health and safety. Not a problem seeing that the workshop rooms are outside. It is nice though that there will be no car parking fees on Tuesday and Wednesday as long as I display the permit I was sent.

Hi everyone! We'll be there - may I blow my own trumpet? Stand H53 Cupcake Cottons - please come and visit us, our first time at the NEC! We are still busy packing, cutting, printing and making lists of our lists - it'll be a good job when we are on our way on Wednesday for setting up - there can't be much we will have forgotten surely. We are looking forward to it, albeit with a certain amount of trepidation :lol:

Jacky, don't forget plenty of bottled water. The air in the hall can get quite dry and you'll need to keep hydrated or you'll get a nasty headache.

looking forward to Festival, I will be there Friday to shop and Sunday to view the quilts (too much to see and do in one day) hope to meet other members at 1pm stand A42. Ann W.Comment

All the quilts were unpacked and hung on Monday and Tuesday, I was on my knees by Tuesday evening, but it was worth it. There are some fabulous quilts on show, I was part of the team that hung the Contemporary category, and there are some real stunners to look out for. I shall be visiting the show tomorrow, will try to get to the meeting point.Comment
