I'll be at the show, haven't booked any workshops yet, the only ones I wanted (Phillipa Naylor) were sold out too quickly

I hope to be there on the Friday, all being well. I have no classes booked. I hope that I can meet up with any tqs member who'll be there that day. Pam

Pam, I'm going to be in a workshop on that Friday after 2pm, but available before. Let's arrange something closer to the time.

I think that I will be at FOQ for all four days, i have been offered space to show my antique "cutter" Allendale quilt and its re-creation quilt. Haven't heard the details yet but I have to sit there for four days and talk to quilters - how hard can that be??

Its official - got an email yesterday - which said "Your stand number is A42 which is right at the front near the competition quilts, and opposite the V&A. A plan is attached." Sounds good to me - I just have to sit next to the quilts and talk to people - sounds a good postition...can perhaps publicise the QG Quilt Study Group and the Traditonal Quilt Group as well...

I'll be there for the whole show. I will be in the fashion show at International night and teaching on Sunday. Anyone in my class?

Sadly not, Ferret, I'd love to do your class, but I'm helping with the take-down of quilts and that kicks off mid-afternoon on Sunday

Oh, what time should I have been around to pick up my quilts? I had assumed the class finished before the show did, but I haven't checked.

Hi Ferret, you'll be fine for the pick-up, it's only the take-down crew who need to be there early. We usually meet at about 3:30, discuss protocol, who's in what team and doing what, then we start putting stickers on the ones that are being collected so they come down first ... there's quite a bit of prep work to do before the mad rush, and then it still seems to take an age

For those of you going going to Festival of quilts this year, Pippa Moss (screen name Pippa) will be on stand A42 (right at the front, near the competition quilts and opposite the V & A.) As detailed in her post above. She is happy for us to have a 1pm meet and greet at her stand each day. I know different people will be there different days, but hopefully we may get to meet some of the other european TQS members during the show. I look forward seeing some of you, old freinds and new.
