    Drum roll..... UK Winner!

Ali's quilt won the annual competition at The Bramble Patch. Isn't that fantastic!!

She won it last year too, and there are always some beautiful quilts entered, so quite stiff competition.

    Ali, you rock!!!

Congratulations to Ali! I love the story about how all those neutrals just jumped into your cart. I'm gonna have to try this out soon! I want to do a nuetrals quilt in the future,I'm thinking a shiny star ooh I bet it would be pretty in a lemone star. Alex;s quilts are beautiful. The swine flu scare has been lifted here and Mexico so sorry to hear its hit there to. Do you all have a long school year there.

Thanks everyone, I'm very chuffed because it's a viewers choice award, it's a nice feeling when you know the majority of viewers liked your quilt best  Sorry about the delay in responding to all your good wishes, I've not looked at the forum for a little while

I've now added a picture to my profile, it's the second one in, with me holding the cup in front of it . The first one pictured (Carolina Lilies) is the quilt that won 2 years ago, I like this little show  . Perhaps I should start entering some of the bigger shows ...

Ali, I think it was the addition of the swags that make this quilt a winner! Congratulations!

I am the very proud owner of a gigantic quilt that Ali pieced and another friend longarm quilted. It lives on my bed - all year round. Ali's work is awesome!
