Many Many thanks Lorchen! Not quite my birthday yet, but opened two pressies already! Not my idea, but two dd couldnt wait and as I wont see them on the day decided to go with it!!! Hope to do a bit of sewing as ds gone away so my sewing room is back with its kit all ready to go! However, not sure that I am happy about having another birthday, I could do without it, still consoling myself with having found out that Cher is 5 years OLDER than me, woo hoo!!!!

    Best wishes

Hope you have a very happy birthday Lynn. At least getting a year older is better than the alternative. Karen

Many thanks to you all for your good wishes on my birthday. Well, no sewing happened! eldest dd came to visit and bought me a fence panel for the garden, no, don't laugh!!!! it was very decorative and enclosed one part of the patio so looked good. Trouble was, we spent my birthday erecting it, tidying up and painting it. And still no sewing! Never, mind, weekend coming up and who knows what will happen then.

Lynn, tack flannel to your fence panel and you'll have an outdoor design wall!

Lorchen - VERY funny!!! Good idea except the rain cannot make its mind up whether to stop or go!!.
Thanks for the kind wishes Amo, long time no chat! So, what have you all been doing whilst I was away for a fortnight? How many quilts have you made 3 or 4? Talking about the weekend, any plans? I thought I might visit the lqs for some relaxation! Just spent two nights completing a job application, needed a form and cv and letter, talk about overkill, just repeating same info 3x! Anyway, just finished it and sent it off as deadline is tomorrow. So can breathe for a while unless I get called for interview then will need to spend hours preparing for that!
Anyway, nice to hear from you both,
                best wishes

Best of luck with the CV too.
