Dearest Lizards
You are all absolutely insane - and positively the "bestest" of all! I love you all - and as you could see from Terrie's posts - you reallly realllllllly made my day! Although we had specified 'absolutely NO prezzies' for our unbirthday, there was no way i would send Terrie back home with these lovelies!!!
They're now hanging on my design wall in my living room (yes there are three muggies from the exchange here as well - the others are all at the office)...
Poor Walter was so busy taking pictures of me, terrie, and the fabulous lizards, i think he was too late for the cake... I definitely owe both him and Terrie ... (As i'm unfortunately one of the very few people that really don't care for chocolate cake, i can't have it in their name...)
Another friend and family disregarded the 'no prezzies' creed - but they gave me their prezzie(s) a couple of days earlier...
Meet Jilly (and my older friend Scottie - who is now also harboring the rosemary's lounging lizard)...
And my fabulous new thread-box - i have always coveted one just like it at our local museum
Yes, i have been rather busy, and i can't seem to get on te forum with my phone - the ipad works - but that unfortunately is on it's last throws (having trouble charging and other stuff - but as i just spent all the money i saved to buy a new lens for my camera for lenses to actually see with - i now have to start saving again - and that camera lens is so much more important than the ipad...)
I have had so much fun reading this topic - it really calls for more...
I am definitely making more of an effort to not just quickly look into facebook but take more time and visit with you on a regular basis...
I'm definitely in on the lighthouse - mmmmh - probably not a problem if we have two interpretations of the peggy's cove lighthouse, it's the only one i know first hand.
Yes, i'm still quilting - not as much as i would like to - but the place is chock full of fabrics and thread - and some actually gets used :silly:
Here a few samples from the past year...
Will be back ...
Big hugs, huge thanks and much love to you all
:0) lotti
P.s. A quick note to my fellow mug-rug-exchangees - yes, i still owe some of you muggies - yes, i know who you are and i have not forgotten - i will do my utmost to ship them out still in this decade...Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

And i totally missed out on saying:
THANK YOU ALL for being there with me on my unbirthday. I had invited Terrie and asked her to 'be my local representative' for all my TQS friends, and what did she do? She found a way to bring you all with her! Three cheers for Terrie :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Life is GOOD! And it is sooooooo good to be a part of it!

Thanks wendy, actually those were last year's quilts...
The three that made it to canada are coming up here - and i'll be doing a few more along this line... Absolutely loving these giant triangles and trying to do a whole quilt with no duplicates...
I did take individual pictures, but those must be in my computer...
Will update hopefully tomorrowLotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

What a feast of beautiful photos Lotti, and fabulous quilts. I particularly love the first one. Your thread box is gorgeous as are the sewing machines. And your flower photos are always the best.
I have already made a lighthouse for Lorchen so I won't do another one. But I might see her at FoQ if I make it this year.
