Marilyn, Nancy was using Foxfire on her home computer. I am using Foxfire too. I sent messages to Technical Support. I will be posting from the Forum at least until I hear back from them.

Terrie, I went into the group to see if there was somewhere to invite people and invited you but that might have just been to the group?? I couldn't find anything about invitation to the event. Maybe Wendy as administration could send out blank invites.
I don't go on the forum much anymore as it is such a bad website that I keep getting lost and taking far too much time looking for simple things. It is like a labyrinth. What happened to the old saying - if it is not broke, don't fix it!!!!!

It enabled me to join the 'group', but can't see any link or click to the 'event'. But, good enough.
I agree that it is difficult (recall my rant), but I want to stay in touch with all you wonderful gals, and I can just forget about the stuff that's too challenging for me...at least for now.Comment

I don't think you need to join an Event. Events are just announcements about something happening on a certain date. The 'event' in your group is just a discussion - right?Comment

Just heard from Nancy/rehak by email. She went to the event page for Maureen's party punched a button and got that same Error Message she and I got when we were first exploring groups. Both of us have emptied our caches and still can't return to the cite using those browsers. That's Nancy's work computer. Now the same thing has happened on her home computer. She has emptied her cache on her home computer and she cannot access the site from that browser either. Apparently, there are still problems with the group software. So I will be wishing Maureen a Happy Birthday from the Forum. I will be posting my selfie from the Forum. I want to relax when I come to TQS so for the most part I will be staying away from groups. Now to the sewing room and the binding.
Nancy is using Foxfire on her home computer and that's also what I am using. I think she was trying to enter in the discussion.Comment
