Yes..Idaho is the potato state....and we can grow them here in southwest central but the very best come from
eastern Idaho where the elevation, soil and climate are just perfect !! 8)

Thanks for the info. Here in Canada. PEI (Prince Edward Island) is famous for their potatoes.

Rosemary, you beat me to it, I highlighted your first reference to to Chocovok, pasted it in Word, made it big, so I could read it, Google searched it & it came right back to TQS, must have been a party going on in 2012 around Show 716, or some number. Sounds like a big glass of that from time to time would be wonderful

I actually had to go glean potatoes this year. We sold our farm so its the first time in 39 years of marriage that I can't just go get them out of one of the cellars. Boo Hoo!
