Happy workspace Rita. I knew you'd be organised Your 1/2 size BOM has grown.

Perhaps my square is in your Christmas box :P

That's actually the full-size version which I am doing too. I just noticed that my rick-rack is hanging down at one end, must fix that. As for being organized, my room is so small - about 11'x11' which also holds 3 file cupboards - so I have to be somewhat organized if only so that DH can get at his files now and again.

Love all your WIPs on the walls, Rita! Wish I could do that, but I have too many windows.

And no, Marilyn, my windows are not insulated. You can feel the bitter cold inches away from the glass. But the honeycomb shades make a HUGE difference and I hope to replace the windows one of these years. Combine the windows with the old boiler and my house stays in the low 50s this time of year. Thank God for the pellet stove that I can use if I'm going to be home all day, since it takes several hours to start generating good heat. And the hot flashes help periodically....

Everyone's got happy work spaces! Love your window and door looking to the outdoors, Nancy. What I'd like to know from Rita since her workspace has nice design walls, is, do you need a stepping stool to put your beautiful medallion quilt on the design wall? Seriously... I'd like to know--my space is barely 9x12 and it's almost as functional as a galley kitchen so every last inch of space counts and there really is no clear and free space for a design wall!

Nancy the snow looks very picturesque through your windows.... but that cold, I wouldn't be able for it. But I really like your workspace. Marilyn, you have too many fabrics, give some to me. :P

Renata, I do have a small step ladder that I use to get the quilt up on the design wall as it gets bigger and bigger. Its a lightweight aluminium one with just two steps and it folds away when not in use.

I'll never use it all up ! Happy to share.

I love these Nancy's windows and the snow but I wouldn't like being that cold. Marilyn, your space looks great. I want to play too. I will soon.

Don't forget to stop by my place on your way to Marilyn's. My stash is so big that I'm embarrassed to show it. But at least I know that if I'm poor when I retire, I can still quilt for the rest of my life!
