My head has been getting big with bruises this week - from banging it against a brickwall because the computer has been doing the BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH! - turns out it was a mega screwup of an update from Microsoft :roll: :twisted: :twisted:
Glad to be back again after resetting the computer but have a ton of stuff to refind now... and lots of emails to sort through :roll:

Well I didn't want to be first but had to grab the iPad from my daughter while she's not using it so here goes.......
Being a fairly literal thinker I wanted to just use the word "yesterday" on my little quilt. As my son studies Japanese at University I asked him to show me the Kanji symbol for "yesterday". This was my first effort at machine appliqué on my new Bernina and was such fun to do. I did straight line quilting behind the appliqué and then added red binding to brighten it up a little

I was already to go to upload my photo. There's been a glitch in my photo sharing system between my phone, computer and iPad. Worked hard to get them talking to each other again. Whew, got it done in the nick of time. But now there are so many photos from my phone to get to my computer that this machine is still working on filing them.
