I hear she got a carry-on crate. Fits right under the seat. But then there's that rooster who strutts so high. She had to get him a crate that could be belted into the seat next to her. Had to buy him a ticket. He was far too tall for the crates that fit under the seat. Some people dread sitting next to wailing kids. Bet they never expected a crowing rooster. Have a nice trip Wendy.Originally posted by LorchenDo you take the chickens, Wendy?? 8)

And with Justin handing out the mojitos this flight will fly! Margo, I know you don't like to fly but a few mojitos will sort that out.
Wendy you have just made me realize that I did not post a photo of the mug rug I received from BJ. I will take a photo this morning and post it later.

Well Lizards, it's 8:00 in the morning and I almost wish I had a Mojito right now
I saw step-mama two days ago, she is truly on her death-bed which is awful to see. She has Alzheimer's and has been in a nursing home for 5 years since my dad passed. I finished up funeral arrangements & am waiting for the phone call. My mint is still glorious from all the rain we've had, even if it's some to go in a vase around some flowers for pretties to look at.
SO, back home, I'm going to spend today finishing up my last two mug rugs from my first list...still hoping some got across the pond safely.
Thanks for keeping up the chatter! It brings smiles.

Susan Sorry to hear about your step-mama. I know it is hard to see her like that.
I too will try and get my 3 mug rugs finished this weekend. I sent one to Limbania the beginning of the month but have not heard if she received it. Also mailed one to Maureen the beginning of this week. Hopefully she will get it soon. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. It is bright and sunny with Carolina Blue Skies here in Trinity.

Sue, so sorry about your step-mama. I know this has been tough for you. Our coming trip to Quilt Odyssey will surely be a badly needed pick-me-up. I know I'm looking forward to it.Originally posted by suehenyonWell Lizards, it's 8:00 in the morning and I almost wish I had a Mojito right now

I'm happy my air conditioner finally got replaced and is working fabulously. In my studio all day today. By the way, I put pics of my latest two quilts (Dad's House Plan and The Storyteller) on my gallery in my website if you want to see them. http://www.bjfabricartist.com/Gallery.php
Happy Friday all you lounge lizards out there.
