I couldn't get into the tqs forum last night either. Just error messages.
All back to normal today. Plan on a little mug rugging and watching some of the free SS videos before they disappear.
Enjoy your mug rugging today. I have volunteer’s information to get out and help get the tickets ready for the show and evening events. Can't wait to do some sewing.

Maureen--what a lovely mug rug and Marilyn, it is just the perfect little rug! I really like the colors and the tea pot is so precious!
I sent Bob and email yesterday when I started getting an error message--he wrote back with apologies for the inconvenience but they were updating the system and that is what was causing us not to be able to use the Forum.

Haven't been back in a long while. We do go north to Williams (Gateway to the Grand Canyon and home of the Grand Canyon Railway) so we call ourselves "Arizona Snowbirds." Williams is due west of Flagstaff and is very much like northern Idaho in scenery and weather. Love Idaho best, though. Where do I find Quilt of the Day?

No mug rugging for me this week - My DH, one of our daughters and I are going to a beach house for a few days break - without my sewing machine!!
Leaving our other daughter and son home alone for the first time - they are 18 (I have triplets!!) and good kids so I'm sure they'll be fine but deep down I can't help worrying a bit.
And, wouldn't you know it, it has started raining and is quite chilly here this morning - we are in the middle of autumn so I guess it's to be expected - I was just hoping the nice weather would hold out for another week. Ah well..........
I do have one mug rug that just needs the binding hand-sewn. and another that just needs a label so I will take them with me. I look forward to seeing what you've all been up to when I get back

I received this beautiful mug rug in the post today from Marilyn. I really love it Marilyn, thank you so much. The cookies look so real - unfortunately they are the only kind of cookies I can eat at the moment.
I brought the post in just as DH and I were about to sit down for a cup of coffee. My mug seemed to go particularly well with your one Marilyn.
Another great mug rug for my collection.
(P. S. - That ric-rac is so tiny I don't know how you managed to sew it on so well with a zig-zag stitch. And I really love the mountain blue bird.)

Got the mail on my way up, two speeding tickets! Actually it's good news, once they took the 6km/h off for speedometer error - I was only over by two km/hr on each (they were 128 instead of 120 and 108 instead of 100), and each of them cost me only 20 Swiss franks, I had been expecting minimum a 1 in front of those figures - the sad thing is that I got them within 15 minutes of each other when I went sightseeing with my colleague from India - for the rest of the day he kept telling me what the speed limit was whenever it changed
And the 'really good' envelope in my mailbox held...
Potatoes, a bluebird and other critters from Idaho!

THANK YOU Marilyn. It's a fabulous little MugRug. And it's coming to the office with me first thing tomorrow morning, going on my MugRug wall!Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland
