Have a great birthday tomorrow Marilyn, in case I forget too! I have my reels quilt on the wall to try to make me finish blanket stitching the applique - it's not working! I am finding lots of other things more attractive at the moment, including mug rugs. And trying to make a video was very diverting too. I am glad that some of you remember it the way I do.

Catching up...
Happy Birthday, Marilyn--have a wonderful day and tell us all about it!
Terrie, I see lots of potential for mug rugs in the quilt you posted... go for it!
Rita, I don't remember the dickie birds gingle in Italian but I'll have to ask my mom about it... maybe there's an Italian version of it. In the meantime, what a great performance--totally enjoyed it!
Norma, how great to send your Pfaff with video instructions off to a great cause--they'll love you for a lifetime!

Rita,
just watched the video - Thank You for bringing back to mind a fun game I used to play with my girls when they were young. We had 2 finger bird dolls from Early Learning Centre (a UK shop that I doubt exists any more - I haven't seen one since we came back to UK last summer). The birds are long gone probably during one of our moves and so are the books with nursery rhymes along with the worn out tapes.
Have a great week-end.

Way to go Rita! I'm sure that President Higgins would be duly impressed!!
Looks like your "house" behind you is big enough for a TQS slumber party!! I'm making my reservation on the TQS Express from track 9-3/4!!

Thank you Rita!!! I never heard of it before but I'm sure my kids will love it when I show it to them after school today. It's sooooo cute!!! Love the new avatar too.
¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Marilyn!!! Have a fantastic day, week, month, year...
Norma, that's great what you're doing, they'll be very happy with the machine and the video.

Rita, simply fabulous video! Will have to hold it in reserve for grandchildren someday...
Norma, how splendid that you are shipping your sewing machine to a deserving home, and kudos for going to the trouble for making your video. It has only taken me 60 years to figure out that I am a big-time visual learner, and I appreciate all the visual tools in our learning toolboxes nowadays (like TQS!).
Marilyn, have a wonderful birthday tomorrow, and I hope you will get perfect springtime weather to go with it!
