Maureen and Wendy---beautiful mug rugs and very lucky recipients.

And Marilyn, sorry my camera phone didn't pick up the wonderful orange sherbert color of the fabric and glad you had something to use to show everyone how wonderful it is. But even your picture doesn't do it justice.

Does anyone know how to fix or adjust photos to pick up the correct colors and details? And I know different monitors can effect how colors are viewed but still my picture came out much too light--maybe its phone cameras or maybe I had too much light on the mug rug--any help or instruction is appreciated.

Geneva, your mug rug is in today's mail.

Jane I wonder if it is similar to iPhoto? You go into 'Edit' and that should give you various options - e.g. rotate, crop, straighten, enhance etc. There might also be 'Adjust'. Either 'enhance' or 'adjust' should give you options to brighten the photo. I know that it's different for PCs but you might have something similar. Unless you have a Mac in which case you should nave iPhoto anyway. I hope that's not too confusing and of some help. It is very frustrating when the colours that come out in a photo don't bare any resemblance to what they should be.

I know, I felt terrible when that picture popped up and it just looked very bland when in fact it's a gorgeous color and should have shown what Marilyn used for me. Thanks, Rita, I'll look at the camera settings to see what is available. I tried on my pc (not a Mac) but it wasn't changed much.

I think that there are several early shows that have Gregory Case giving hints on how to get accurate color, etc when photographing quilts. Some of those might be helpful. I don't remember which shows exactly, but it might be in the descriptions.
