What great fun Wendy, I am sure you had a big grin on your face when you received it and opened it Lorchen what a great idea especially for Wendy

Fabulous mug rug Lorchen and what perfect wrapping for Wendy! What a lovely lighthouse!

I too received a mug rug in the post today - from Jane. Thank you so much Jane it's really beautiful. I love the shape and the central motif with my initials. And all the fabrics are really lovely surrounding it. The glittery couched thread around the binding is a great touch too.

          Dear Lorchen, Dear Lorchen
How do you do this? All the amazing cross stitch?
Do you perchance use an embroidery machine?
The curious would like to know.
          Love the light house!

Marilyn, yes that was the first time I had been to Sisters. Next time, we will stay closer so we have more time there. The Stitchin' Post is a truly wonderful store, in my top two or three that I've ever seen.

So glad U like it, Rita. I had fun with printing those initials on the fabric. When I bought that software a few years ago and I wasn't sure what I'd ever do with it but it sure came in handy. The shape is a modified pineapple using Gyleen's handy pineapple tool.

Thank you for all the compliments! I'm delighted that Wendy likes the fabric and the mug rug. The little lighthouse is a German design, by the way.

I have done needlework a lot longer than quilting, and it's all done by hand, Sue. I find it very relaxing.
