Originally posted by LorchenI just have to share with all lounge lizards and mug ruggers something that is worth spending over 5 hours on the road on a Saturday: Isn't Aayan (1 week today) simply gorgeous?! Emma is so happy to be at home with her little one, and Maartijn has another 3 weeks off work, so they can enjoy this very special time together.
You are so right, it is well worth 5 hours or even more on the road to see and hold this beautiful little boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Becky, Aayan got a blanket I crochet. I did not make him a quilt. I made a quilt for his stillborn sister and she was wrapped in it for her funeral. I did not want to tempt faith. So this baby will get an 'I Spy' quilt with lots of boy stuff. But that can wait a little.
Right now I have to seriously get a quilt done for granddaughter number 2. I have less than 2 months for another girly quilt. From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

Thanks Charae and Wendy.
Thank you all for your support, prayers and concern. I missed you a lot and finally I can enjoy your company.
Ay, ay, ay! Just a couple of weeks "out of commission" and there's page after page of posts here. I'm not complaining, lots of fun and inspiration. You ladies are very prolific in all fronts. There are lots of gorgeous mug rugs, what a creative bunch you all are. And congrats to all the happy and proud recipients. Can't wait to start creating "my little gems" for you all. Have fabric and lots of ideas but is still going to be a little bit before I get going
I got a gorgeous mug rug from Vicki. Love the colors and dragonflies! Thanks a lot (sent you an e-mail a couple of days ago) and sorry it took so long to post and let you know I received it.ops:
