Definitely time for something else now. If I didn't live on a small island so far away from everybody else I would suggest another exchange - like a hexagon flower exchange seeing as everybody is into hexies at the moment. Wendy, I am curious to know what was going through your collective minds.

Sorry - count me out for hexies, I still haven't got over my bad experience with them in primary school  :? :|Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzDefinitely time for something else now. The answer to that was 'where the heck are we now?' 'was that the 'wee' roundabout?' and 'how do we get from here to there?'Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzI am curious to know what was going through your collective minds.
finished off with 'do you think a small glass of sweet sherry would help the navigators?'

 I never did get the hang of the roundabouts I think it was the distraction of the deer.
Well, Lorna and I were particularly taken by the Filanderers exhibition of little quilts either A4 or A3 size (you'll have to explain that Lorna). They made journal quilts as a challenge through the year all to a theme or another year they made them from another one. Bit like Chinese whispers I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
We thought it would be fun to make these little quilts together and in the end you end up with a collection. To make it a bit more interesting I thought why not choose a quilt from in the book as the theme, or take a quilt and make a bit of it or maybe choose a sentence from a page as inspiration. We do one together but keep them secret and reveal at a given date. Lorna said monthly but is that too short. Anyone interested still.
They would be small enough to post if we wanted to at any time.
Rosemary I still have your wine in my car, shame I don't drink red. It could have helped the navigation. Go round roundabouts twice  who me

Still interested. However, I am still not quite clear about what you have in mine. Perhaps the pictures you plan to post will give me more clarity. I did enjoy looking in TQS gallery when we were praciticing allowing ourselves to be inspired by a particular quilt and then we posted our plans or our ideas. That got my creativity going and I believe I need something like that. Please tell me more about what you were thinking.
I now see that Sue is wanting in on the fun. Personally, I'd not have a problem at all with any lounge lizard joining in on what we are working at doing.

What in the world????
From the Urban Dictionary:
filanderer
one who walks around juggling three onions while maintaining a stark erection
Person 1: Last night I walked into my brother's room to find boxes of vidalia onions, viagra, and (unmentionable).
Person 2: Dude, your brother is a closet filanderer.
