I'll just sing a little song while you do that Wendy:
Oh you take the high road
And I'll take the low road
And I'll be in Scotland before you
For me and my quilt
We will hope to meet again
On the bonnie bonnie banks
Of Loch Lomond
(A little artistic license there - I hope Robbie Burns will forgive me  )
Wendy, it's in the post.
Maureen it's in the post.

Cor! I've finally got in this evening - my computer wouldn't let me sign in because it said the site had an invalid security certificate
I was working on them but I seem to remember getting bored with some rubbing out of lines etc and then getting side-tracked with a quilt or two (and a few mug rugs) along the wayOriginally posted by loise98Okay, everyone. I am inspired. I need to write my 100 words before I completely forget everything about designing and constructing my quilt. I was confused about the label. I think I got lost somewhere in our discussion about labels and I was thinking there we were all going to have the same label designed by Rosemary. But I will get on with the label as well.
ops: Got a quiet week next week (after racing to the post office) I will try and get back on to it. I know that it was a great idea that I had - just need to get on with it.

We all decided to make our own labels when we didn't hear anything from you but that is OK. As you can't put the name of the quilt you are sending on to the next person, everyone is making their own label with all the information (which was in the attachment I sent out). Of course the quilt will have been sent to the next person so the labels will and have been sent to me and I will sew them on the proper quilts when I receive them.Originally posted by PosyPCor! I just thought I would make it clear to everyone that I don't see the quilts when they arrive so I am looking forward to the big reveal later on as well. My daughter takes the parcel, opens it and puts the quilts flat in a safe place. She is very intrigued with it all as she is Kim Phillips the prize-winning photographer, that supplied the photo and before you say anything, ‘The’ photo was one I had never seen before. She is also very tight lipped about the quilts that have come. Imagine keeping such big secrets from you mum.

Wendy, can't you tell from Rita's quilt? It's modeled after the quilt that is modeled after the photo? Several times removed, I suppose.
Maureen, I dion't remember you mentioning previously that your daughter was the photographer! That's awesome. I can't remember do all the Whisper groups start with the same photo or does each group start with a differnt one?

She is an amateur photographer Wendy. Her husband is one also and a judge so they are always going places to take photographs, even abroad. Helensburgh has quite a big photography club and Kim has been photographer of the year a few times. Both her and her husband have sold some stunning photographs. She went off photography for a while and stared making hangings with silk on an Embellisher but is now back to her photographs.Originally posted by twigletI'm looking forward to seeing Kim's photo. What sort of photography does she do? is it a living or hobby Maureen.
She has just started a new website http://photographybykimphillips.snack.ws/

I never mentioned before that it was Kim's photo, as I didn't want you all to think I had an unfair advantage but it was truly a photo I had never seen before. That was one of the reasons I went first in case I would see it somewhere along the way, which I haven’t.Originally posted by Lorna1021Wendy, can't you tell from Rita's quilt? Yes, all the groups received a copy of the same photograph. The exhibit is going to be awesome
