There IS a cool Craftsy class called "Jean-ius" by Kenneth D. King that shows you how to make make a pattern and sew a copy of your favorite pair of jeans. Very detailed.Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzMaureen I don't think you are the only one whose body has changed shape from when we were young. Such is life, unfortunately. I do envy you your ability to make clothing though. Maybe it's time to take a Craftsy class.

Sorry for putting two posts the same. Last night when I first posted it come up as an error every time I tried to do something on here and the mug rug swap and I couldn't see anything to do with any forum.
In fact I went in the morning to re-post and there was two of them :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

I couldn't get on the Forum for a while yesterday! Yikes! I wrote to Bob the Tech Guy and he wrote back apologizing saying they were updating the system yesterday and there were some disruptions in service. That may be what was causing you problems. Anyway, we are now back in business.Originally posted by scottishquilterSorry for putting two posts the same. I thought I would let everyone know that I am officially (almost) out o fthe hot seat! My Chinese Whispers quilt is finished and bound and is just waiting for a hanging sleeve so that I can send it on to Renata. She received the official pictures this morning and I'm sure her head is spinning with ideas! Phew!! The pressure is off!
And to Renata -- Tag, you're it!!

OH, YES, Nancy... my head is spinning alright... don' t know if it's with ideas yet, though!   All I'll say is Nancy's quilt is GORGEOUS, there's plenty to inspire... I feel like the diving officer who has just been given the order, "Dive, dive!" ... pretty soon there will be "radio silence" from the depths of my sewing room... hope I'll be able to report to the conning officer that the trim is satisfactory! :lol:Originally posted by rehakI thought I would let everyone know that I am officially (almost) out o fthe hot seat! Well done Nancy! Congratulations on getting it done so quickly despite the difficult circumstances. I am full of admiration.
Ahoy Renata, look alive mate! It's off to the boondocks with you. Here's wishing you fair weather and a following wind and may your FMQ reach flank speed. Have a cup of Joe and start charting sailor.
