I just got up, Limbania and I'm another one whose face you put a smile on!

You're over the hump with treatment at the half-way point and I hope this also means that things will get a little easier for you. You have been a source of inspiration throughout this journey and I am truly grateful that you have been so willing to share it with your friends here on the Forum. So glad your DMIL is there to help you. Hang in there, you can do this! Sending positive thoughts your way and always thinking of you!

I have to admit, I did wonder whether she would slid down the bannisters for a second there Still it is a great clip.

Same as the rest of group have said, hoping the side effects are kept to a minimum, and so pleased that your MIL is such a great support to you. Here's hoping that your kids are taking it ok too - must be very scarey for them to have such a changed and poorly mummy. Looking forward to the next virtual party - I might even remember to check up the location on google earth next time

I can only repeat what everyone else has said -- my thoughts are with you and I hope that the rest of the treatments go well! I'm so glad you MIL is there to help you out and give you support! And thanks for the video. I'd seen it before, but it's a good one to see over and over again!

I am with you too, Limbania. I hope the next treatment goes well and that it does its stuff without causing too many side effects. It's wonderful that you DMIL can be with you. I join Renata in her gratitude that you are so willing to share this experience. It's the reason we live in communities both virtual and real so that we can share all those things life brings our way. We aren't intended to travel life's path alone. Keep us posted. Love and care is being sent your way.

I thought you might like to see this little quilt that my son made for his Junior Certificate art project. His theme was all things Japanese. He is very into drawing manga (Japanese animation characters) at the moment. he is 14 years old. He did all the quilting himself - supervised closely by his mother (me). He first painted the picture using his manga blender pens (I can't remember what they are called). The idea was to do a Zen garden. His art teacher was delighted with it. The rock in the center looks remarkably like something else but shhhhh, we won't say anything.

Looks like son has inherited some of his mother's creativity There would be no mistaking a Zen garden, love the color of the mountain and the quilting is great.
