Rita, I would imagine that there are "several" of us who are blessed with an abundance of fabric and supplies who would be willing to donate if we can figure out how to get them there. Any suggestions?

Rita, totally agree with Rosemary and Connie--if there is a way for us to contribute please let us know.

I suggest that we wait and see if Geta and Roxana can put a plan together and hopefully they will get back to me to organize the supplies. I think it is probably somewhere between 8 and 10 children who would be old enough to do this. I had planned on sending charm packs or layer cakes but Geta says that she has allergies and would prefer to wash the fabric first so it will probably be FQs or yards that I send. I would be delighted if anybody wanted to contribute a FQ and the best thing would be to send it direct to either Geta or Roxana. When I know what the plan is I will let you know the address to send to. Quilters really are the most generous people aren't they? It does my heart good.

Thanks for all the links and inspirations from Geta. Her trapunto gives me shivers. There are basic tutorials on her blog for this.

Thanks, Rita, on the link re Geta's shadow trapunto...just ordered it through Amazon. It looks amazing. I took a class a few years ago with Harriet Hargraves and this will be a great addition. I love the look of trapunto and can't wait to get the book!

                                Morning Norma, are you there

I've done Sewcalgal's feather challenge, here's the photo for you. Are you going to do it

The first was so ugly but worked out why and made the feathers different size, more curl and added interest. Wish I could quilt like Joanne of Threadhead, hers are superb 8)
