I've finished my silver birch quilt.

My chicken friend is making me a piece of felt in return. The challenge was silver birch, straight lines and an embellishment technique we haven't tried before.

                      better try that again.....timber

That's better. I sorted out all the wonkiness by overquilting and redoing the bottom borders.

Wow, it is wonderful Wendy! Love the texture and color of birch tree trunks. Last sumer while in Alaska, took several pictures to paint some watercolors and maybe make a quilt. Now I got really inspired by your quilt, thanks for sharing.

I am impressed with how your overquilting straightened it up so much - a full 90 degrees  Love how you achieved the background too.
