Congratulations Marilyn! Is the new profile to suggest that you don't know whether you are coming or going after coming up for air? So glad you are done and on to Easy Street - not much of a mystery about that one now. I hope you enjoy doing it. I have downloaded all the instructions but with the TQS BOM still not done and an avalanche of applique to do on my WotRott quilt, to name but two, I don't know if I will ever get around to it. But I do love Bonnie Hunter's method of making flying geese using the easy angle and companion rulers. Brilliant!

Go on, Marilyn when isn't it quilt season? Great new photo, is it for DH to remember what you look like from the front

Reminds me of a story I was told about Huntin' Duck. (in a laid back hill-billy american accent)

Some 'Good 'ole Boys' go to their sheriff and say
'Look Sheriff, we here have been duputised to come to you to ask for another month to shoot duck'
'Another month to shoot duck you say'
'Yep, me and the boys we want another month to shoot duck!'
          'What-chou gonna call it?'
          'Pardon?'
'Well boys, seeing as you already shoot duck 12 months of the year, if you wants another month to shoot duck, what-chou gonna call it?'

Limbania, I feel your pain - anticipation is probably the worst part of this exchange. Good luck with it.

First snow fall here today, very slushy but staying on the ground. If it freezes tonight we will be in for some very slippery roads. Rosemary and Wendy, are you blanketed in snow yet? The news was that you were to expect a big dollop today?

Not here yet - actually it is sunny at the moment (11am) DH most upset that he had to go in to work today   The roads are currently clear, but it is still on the ground from Monday's fall, and still pretty.

Good fall here today and an exciting drive home from work. It's very hilly where I live and the roads weren't gritted so it was a bit hairy. I know we Brits are rubbish in snow.

I think we Irish are as bad if not worse. We have snow up here in the hills but downhill the flooding is pretty bad. We went to pick the kids up from school today and fortunately were in the jeep as we would not have made it in a low car. Many of the roads were like rivers. And it's still raining/sleeting/snowing now. Stay warm and safe.
