Maureen, The order is fine with me. I did not get any information indicating order until I saw this post. Have I missed something? Just checking, because of what happened with Renata's email. I'll be eager to know how all that works out on a calendar. It will be hard to wait, but it will also be a good thing. It will be impetus to get other stuff done so my schedule is free for "The Whisper Quilt". Thanks again for all you are doing!

Maureen - The new order is fine with me. I will do my best to get finished within my allotted time. It looks like I will have it over the Christmas holiday so there will be around 5 days when I'll be out of town and can't work on it, but I should be able to work hard around that. But that would probably be the case for anyone on the list. I'll get started on my Christmas presents now!
Thanks!
Nancy

The new order is fine with me...but Nancy..I can swap with you if you would like to get away from Christmas holiday.
We have no family commitments nor do we travel much during that time as snow and related weather issues keep us
home. DH operates a snow plow for the county and is on call.. Let me know...

Don't know how it started but remember reading about the idea long ago ! Leans toward the art quilt but I'm thinkin' that
the more traditional can find their way in and around, too. I tend to take "flyers" out of my box now and then ! I like
to get my small group (6) to do this in the future !

I can be flexible too if needs be. I can only think of one nightmare week in the year for me and that's from 29th July to 5th August when we have 4 of our 5 children's birthdays!! But that is only a week and not constantly every day. Quilting is always a welcome relief between birthday parties and cakes.

Thanks for the offer! If it's not any trouble for you, then that would help me out a lot. But I will find the time to do this no matter when my turn comes up.
So, Maureen, please switch Marilyn and myself (in case I just sounded wishy-washy above).
I'm so excited! This is really beyond my comfort level, but the type of thing I really, really want to do. (And with a group of people who have become very special to me!!) Thanks to everyone!!

Thanks everybody for swaping places.ops: The way it was before would've make it really hard for me since it fell in a time frame that my family ( that I haven't seen in over 3 years) will be comming to Arizona from México.
This is a first for me too and way beyond my comfort zone  but, it's also really exciting to work with you all, that have become like family to me. Been around you has helped me to get doing, instead of just wishing to do and accumulating fabric because is pretty and some day I'll make something with it :roll:ops:
So looking forward to get started in this great adventure. The anticipation of seen the end result is just an amazing feeling, like staying wide awake on Christmas Eve waiting to see what Santa will bring the next morning

I've been quiet for the past few days because I was in New Yorkbut stayed in touch with Maureen. I am so excited to be participating in the Chinese Whispers challenge with such a wonderful group of quilters whom I have come to love and respect (I probably would not have stuck with quilting if it hadn't been for your support and help when I was first trying to figure out whether quilting was for me). I am certainly out of my league here but hope my enthusiasm and attention to detail will make up for my lack of experience. I, too, am flexible in my schedule so if there is need for any changes--just let me know.
Thank you for letting me be a part of this!
