Lois, you've got prospective quilter on your hands--what an opportunity to nourish that and both of you are enjoying this, aren't you?

Rita, I adore the pinwheels you have made from the bonus triangles - so nice to see them used.

Lois, great picture of your GD and what lovely neat stitching too

Lois, what a great project for a beginner. It's lovely! And can't wait to see your quilt!

Rita, your quilt is so, so beautiful! I've followed Bonnie's blog as pictures are posted and am looking forward to seeing how everyone quilts theirs. How do you plan to quilt yours?

Thanks Beverly. Not really sure how to quilt it but I will SID the blocks and then figure out what to do next. It is a very busy pattern so I don't think much detail in quilting will show very well so I won't be doing anything very complicated.

Rita, your pinwheels in the border are really special!! That looks wonderful. I got my top put together, too, but I didn't go to that much trouble. I did piece a whimsical backing, though. It has hedgehogs in all the right colors.

I can't believe those beautiful, even stitches from an 8 year old! I've never managed hand stitching that was so neat!

Love the colors of your Celtic Solstice, Carole. What a fun backing--who would expect it... and the backing colors match up perfectly.

Carol, I love the hedge hogs. I agree 8 year old Carolyn did a wonderful job with her stitching. I will try to nurture that talent.
