I think I might put my reels together in a way that would be like they all fell on the floor and this is how they looked...very random. If I can figure out how to piece them that way. I am pretty random in general. lol Such as randomly throwing in this topic in the middle of brew recipes. ;-) I only get on here occasionally because it is summer here on the farm and it is busy, busy! Sounds like a fun plan to me, but with all those odd angles for piecing, starch will definitely be your friend.

i've just about decided to make mine into a "beach-hut" quilt.

That's a great beach hut design, Roseanne, and possibly more in keeping with what Lotti might have had in mind... I don't know... but the thought "beach hut" conjured up for me was one with a thatched roof! :lol:

Ok so they are all closed up, but these are at Swanage, Dorset, where my Gran used to live, and we would go down every year for a holiday. Her house was half way up a very steel hill, and it was hard work schlepping up after a day at the beach.Comment
