Dawn,
I completely agree. We need to wait awhile. But I do think that it would take a while to organize, work out the guides, and find people who are willing to lead and participate. It is fine to start thinking about it now - maybe for the summer. I will have to see about leading. I would like to take a more active roll but am just starting a round of fertility treatments again. Hopefully, crossing fingers and knocking on wood I'll be pregnant by the summer. If there are enough people in IL to help I will certainly take on a larger roll. Lets all think about it and see.
It might be good to wait until the book comes out. It could be a fun way to celebrate the SOTTTs and also draw more interest in a second exchange.
Excited about the idea,
Kari

I would definitely be interested in participating in a hst exchange this summer. I live near La Crosse, WI now ( used to live in Naperville, Il) but I have ties in Chicago and the western suburbs and could easily come visit relatives and friends in order to be available to help with sorting, etc. I am officially offering to help, Kari. I can help with things earlier on in the process, too. Just let me know what, where and when!

Hi Lady Rags! I live on the far west side of Wisconsin along the Mississippi and you will be traveling along the far east side near Lake Michigan so I'm afraid I am not really familiar with any shops along your route. however I do know there is a fairly new Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in Cedarburg which would be only a very short detour for you. David Taylor will be teaching there this fall and I would LOVE to attend! The website for the museum is http://wiquiltmuseum.com/ Appleton is very close to Door County, where Alex A. has family ties! Have a marvelous time at the wedding and visiting your family. I hope you enjoy the Wisconsin Quilt Museum! ~lynnOriginally posted by LadyRagsLYNN,
