What are you making with the Sensational Strips?

I usually have to have everything organized, sorted, arranged, specified. . . PERFECT before I start a project, which is why I usually don't get them started. This exchange has allowed me to forego all the preplanning (procrastinating?). The strips arrived and looked like a bag of jewels. I have been looking at patterns and found one called "Strip Twist!" on http://www.quiltville.com. I really wanted a scrappy look, so I, rather unceremoniously, dumped the strips into a bag and tossed them all together. I have been sitting at my sewing machine pulling out a light and a dark and sewing them together in sets of 4 (DkLtDkLt). The only time one goes back into the bag is if I have pulled one that is the wrong value. I have about 18 sets sewn so far, I should end up with about 50. Here is how it has gone so far. I will post more as I get it done.

WTG, Brenda! Even just the pile of strip sets looks great!

Wow, Brenda! I love that block you are using. Sometimes it's fun to let randomness come in and play. I often discover combinations I would never have tried before, because serendipity put two fabrics next to each other. When you finish the quilt, it's going to be spectacular.
