It looks pretty & done to me. I am sorry that you are not happy with it (yet) But I sure hope that the answer comes to you. I'll still love seeing it in the book as it is. the centre squares/diamonds were an idea that I toyed with, because I love it when secondary patterns emerge.

Another beauty! much lighter in feel than I achieved. Congratulations on finishing!

I think I would like to change the quilting in the purple border and add more to the pinwheel border but for now it is done. We will see what the future brings. Thank you for the encouragement.
