Thanks to everyone who is helping me out!!! I know that 490 hst sounds like a lot to be short but my sister, happythreads, and I went in together and each did 490hst. I know that the job of sorting through all of the hst was one I sure would not have wanted to do and our other half was thought to have been placed in the envelope and then in the hustle and bustle of counting and mailing it was just overlooked. You are all so kind to come to my rescue. If I can ever be of help don't hesitate to call on me.

I have only received 3 emails letting me know who came up short or who has too many. Please keep me in mind, this is what I volunteered for. I will match you up with someone who has extra or send out SOS's for you.
I have only received 2 people who would like to participate in my suggested duplicate packet swap but are concerned about the lack of interest. If you are specifically looking for more international or a particular state then this exchange is not for you - a forum request with what you are looking for would better suit your needs. If you are like me, and received many, many duplicates my swap might help reduce those duplicates (we couldn't have all gotten the same duplicates!). The more people who participate the less chances for more duplicates.
If no one is interested that's ok too - less work for me, more time to sew.
Just trying to help,
Kari

Kari, I have been out of town two of the last three weeks so haven't been able to sort through the duplicates. Hi! Kari....am sending 16 packets prepared as you requested out in the mail tommarow. Any
reshuffleing you can do will improve my mixture. This is only a portion of my duplicate fabrics
and duplicate labels... there were many ! I hope that others will want to swap a few this way!
Thanks for your time ! Marilyn

Kari,
I am only just over half way through listing my hsts, but have found a number of duplicate names that I would be happy to throw back in the mix for another 'shuggle' (Scots for mixing up), but I have a number of other things with close deadlines that also need doing. I will get back to you when I finally finish my spreadsheet of who I have and want to swap.
Thanks all the same.

Kari,
I have a few duplicates I will send to you to be traded for something different. This way the others that have contacted you will have some to trade for. I will not be doing anything with my HST for a while, so this will work for me and help others. Everyone should be happy, as this was an increadible experience! I'll mail them in a couple of days. Thanks!
Dawn,
In beautiful Northwest Montana

I don't mind waiting....DoreenOriginally posted by serin10Thanks everyone. It sounds like there many not be as many participants as I was originally anticipating. Would everyone rather just wait until the end of June - 6 or 7 weeks from now - and only do 1 swap (instead of 4)? Will that give our international sisters enough time?
Thanks!
Kari

June would be good for me, I'm up to my eyeballs in 'stuff' that needs doing, and that does not include playing with hsts - just trying to list them all is starting to send me crazy, but in a good way, and taking far longer than I anticipated, but I've started so I am determined to finish.
Cheers everyone

I had 700 to list and it took me about 3 hours to type them all in, then another 8 hours to sort them into duplicates based on the excel file. And for 4 of those hours my husband helped me sort. Good luck!

Hubby was on the computer when I started, so I started listing them by hand  after 13 pages, I decided that it probably would have been easier to have them on a spread sheet, so now I have to transfer all the info into the computer :roll:Originally posted by serin10Originally posted by PosyPJune would be good for me, I'm up to my eyeballs in 'stuff' that needs doing, and that does not include playing with hsts - just trying to list them all is starting to send me crazy, but in a good way, and taking far longer than I anticipated, but I've started so I am determined to finish.
