When I started making Hst's I wondered to myself if there was such a thing as too much starch (and could it be used to 'glue' the layers together so that they would not move), but didn't like to ask. Last Friday evening when I was trying to open some of my hst's that I had made in my more generous starch moments I got my answer which was ' Yes you can be too generous, and it is a right nusiance!' ops: ops:

Therefore I would hereby like to apologise to any Sottt or BatsRUS that has also been the recipient of my extravagant starching experiments.

I love all of Terry's quilt but Grandmother's flowers will encourage me to return to 3-D flowers that I put on a quilt for my niece about 20 years ago. I had so much fun being creative experiment with different fabrics and hand stitching techniques I want to do it again!

Quilts are beautiful, Terry. It's interesting how blocks from 2 different BOM go together in the same quilt. Love the colors--the brackground really pulls it together well. Congratulations--it's aways fun to have your work recognized by others. Pat

Wow! Thank you for all the kind positive comments about my quilts. I was so surprised to open this thread and see so many responses. I am honored that you took the time to post your comments. Sharyn Craig's workshop as well as support from TQS members has sure helped me step outside my little quilting box! Since my car accident, quilting is hard on my neck and back; but every day I give quilting a try. . .even if all I could manage that day was to check in here!!!
