Maybe the design needs some bee's. They are communal in nature and so are we. I'll have to think about it. Lois Bruno, PA
I have your hst's, I just pressed them last evening.

Hi, Here is an update on the 2nd box of HST's ~ it still has not arrived. :? It has been a week since the first box arrived, I'll give it another week or more before getting overly concerned. Will keep you updated. Love what I have so far, but don't want to play too much until the rest arrive.

      Have fun everyone,

        Hi all,
I have started work on my second hst quilt using a design from the forum, thank you whoever you are - it is a lovely lattice design - I downloaded all the photos that people have sent onto the forum for my scrapbook and I have forgotten to write down whose it was. ops:
        Photo is attached
I have been working all morning and it must be time to stop for lunch but I keep saying to myself - just one more row....lol
It will be quite a lot bigger but my design board would only fit this many on. It is to be made only with the batik fabrics - they are absolutely awesome.
Our group is setting up at one of the local shows to work on them so people can see what we do.
        Cheers for now,
        Louise in Cairns

Louise, you have excellent taste....this is the one that I want to make with my batiks, also.

Louise, I love it. I can't start mine just yet. Have other projects that need to be finished first. The upside to waiting is that I get to see so many ideas for my mine!

                  Louise,

Margo posted the lattice, but did not say if it was one of hers or not. The picture looks like it was taken in a store of some sort. It is in "What do plan to make with your HSTs." Yours is looking really good!

Love the lattice design. I got all mine pressed and color copied by state/country. Now I'm taking off the papers and matching them to the color copies for my record. It is sooo much fun. I can't wait to start on the quilt. Still don't know what I want to do with them. Hmmmm?

I have pressed and trimmed the ears. I am now in the process of logging all the HST, once that step is done I plan to pull the papers and plan my top. It is currently a toss up between the Tree of Life or the Medallion Quilts. I am loving Edyta's book. I definitely enjoy how it clearly tells how many HST I need to complete the tops. Wonderful job, Edyta!

                          Hi all,
I probably won't be able to get onto the site again for a while, DH has just had a heart attack and I have been up all night with him at the hospital, so of course hst's will be taking the back seat, the other ladies will continue on of course. Just here tidying up before I go back there now, family flying in this afternoon to be with me, he is going to be an awful patient as he has never ever been sick.
                          Love you all,
