There should have been a small printed note on a bright color paper inside your package which explains what is in the Golden Ticket baggie. There is one from Alex, Ricky, Margo, and the one that is pressed open and either signed or unsigned is from Edyta. Edyta wasn't able to sign each of her HST's so it was strictly the luck of the draw as to who received a signed one from her.[/quote]
Debbie,
Thanks for the info, I was guessing from you, but see I would have been wrong. Didn't see the bright colored paper and I just finished sorting out the unsigned ones. My design calls from some just dark triangles, some just light triangles and some cut in half triangles (half light & half dark), these will be made from the unsigned. So far I have one whole block and 2 half blocks made. When I finish one more whole block and 2 half blocks I will take a picture and post it. This is so much fun! I let a quilting friend look in my envelope and she right away wanted me to share.... It was really hard to say no, but my design calles for 622 HSTs. If I have some left, I guess I could give them to her (another use for those unsigned HSTs). Have a fun day, and Thanks for all the work you and all your helper did on my (and everyone else's) behalf.

Sorry you didn't find the note, Nancy. Below is a copy of what was in the note:
Your package from “the SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TRIANGLES” EXCHANGE. VIA THEQUILTSHOW.COM. HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!
Please welcome THESE newly adopted charges in your home AND TREAT THEM lovingly AS YOU STITCH THEM TOGETHER into a remarkable friendship quilt.
OUR hst’s have TRAVELED AND WILL travel from and to many countries including
Australia, new Zealand, Canada, Germany, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, s. Korea, Scotland, Switzerland, the united kingdom and 45 DIFFERENT states in the U.S.A.
Be sure to Look inside for a small baggie containing the ‘golden tickets’ from Alex, Ricky, edyta & Margo. Ricky & alex’s have all been signed, but edyta wasn’t able to sign all that she sent, so it’s only the luck of the draw as to who gets one that EDYTA DID sign.
Thank you for participating in this exchange. we LOOK FORWARD TO hearing from you for a long, long time on our new tqs forum topic:
sottt’s chapter 3 – the sorting & beyond!
Huge hugs to all of you from Texas…

Debbie,
Thanks for that information, I have added it to my journal.

Clara - THANK YOU for a job well done, and I agree with you about our hubbies. Now is the time for you to go for a manicure, a pedicure, a day at the spa, - or - equally enjoyable - just stay home and play with you HSTs! Or maybe you'd rather to horseback riding? ( I can't relate ) Enjoy the day!

Well, I certainly don't know it all, but I do know how to do this! :wink:Originally posted by FluffBallQuiltsThanks Margo. Now for the information on how to post the location address? I know you know because you are the Goddess of all Information!Originally posted by MargoNancy, your block is great! Here's a link: community/my-profile/FluffBallQuiltsOriginally posted by FluffBallQuiltsHi All,
For those of you that gave information on the paper triangle of the HSTs, Thanks! It is such fun to look you up and see your quilts. I take time with each HST as I journal it into the block layout. Looking up all these profiles takes time, but what a quilt show I am having each day. I have used about 43 HSTs so far and have noticed some duplication (in names not fabrics). So I started a Excell file to put the names (or TQS tag) and my personal comments about quilts. If some of you have not uploaded any quilt pictures into your profile yet... please do this! It is very easy and such a joy for others to view.
The first block is posted in my TQS blog in case you want to see the first of many. Time to sew, see ya.

Thanks Margo, I have been wondering the same thing. I'm new to this. Watched your videos today. Great. Big help too. I have all mine pressed and am trimming the dog ears. taking it slow.Originally posted by MargoBean53, when you want to quote a post, all you have to do is click on the QUOTE box in the upper right corner of the one you want to quote! (It says "reply with quote" when you hover over it.)Originally posted by bean53I notice that some of the posts repeat the post of the person you want to respond to and then show your response - how do you do that?
That text will appear in a new post reply box and you just add your text! If there is just one part that you want to quote, you can delete the extra text....just be sure that the beginning and endingremains intact.
Easy-Peasy!
