This thread (and entire site) makes me so happy! I have not yet received my HSTs (although they may be sitting at my PO right now - it is closed and the package won't fit in my po box) but I am living vicariously through all your posts. I do have to say that I took a close look at the pictures that have been posted, and have seen at least ONE of the HSTs I sent in. What a thrill!
    Two comments:
    1) I have several times wished there were a "LIKE" button... please, that would be wonderful!! and
    2) I have EQ7 (great) and I took the QU (Quilt University) classes for EQ6 and they were outstanding. The exercises were extraordinary, and you can print out all the lessons, and save the pertinent comments from the forum in a printable document. I (like many others) do not use nearly all of the capabilities of EQ, but I refer to the QU lessons often when I do use it. If I finally get around to it ( ops: ) I will post the design I am working on for my yet-to-arrive HSTs!

My babies arrived safe and sound today.

Thank you to Debbie and Clara and to all of you lovely people that participated.
Now I will follow Margo's instructions on pressing. I usually don't park the iron on one while I go to the next HST, but I'll give it a try.

Woohoo!! They came today! Thank you so much to Debbie, Clara and all the sorting, packaging, mailing helpers! What an experience this has been. This is my first exchange and it has been a blast from making the hst's, to reading all the posts, to receiving my hst's. Now on to deciding on a pattern. One of these days I'll get a profile pic up. I have a new computer and I'm not very techy, don't even have pics on the computer yet. But soon. Looking forward to seeing pics of what everyone does with their hst's!

My HSTs were in my mailbox today!!! I went through them to get a count and mine are close to Right On. I didn't count the number of states, but about 50 of them are from several countries outside the US. They are all great. I watched Margo pressing. Will get to that after the Easter holiday. I've been cleaning and now I have to look for Edyta's book. Thanks everyone. :P

BarbaraAnne, I'm sure there are others, but I took a 3 week basic class through the Quilt Whisperer web site. They will be offering it again this summer.

Shirley, the 'favorites' button is a cute little red heart with a plus sign inside of it. If you go to the Daily Blog page, right at the top right of the first blog, you'll see one. If you click on it, it will add it to 'Your Favorites'. To then see your list of 'Your Favorites', go to 'My Account' at the far right on the Navigation Bar. You'll see 'My Favorites' in the drop down menu. When you pick that it will show you a list of shows, blogs, quilts, lessons, etc. that you want to be able to watch or look at again. You'll just click on the what you want to see again and it will take you right to that article, show or whatever. I like to use it for shows I know I'll want to watch a second time, like Edyta's segment. Try it and see how you like it!

I'm still learning about the Forum myself, so you and I probably know about the same amount about that![/quote]

                  8) COOL BEANS, DEBBIE :!: I WENT TO THE DAILY BLOG, SCROLLED DOWN TO MARGO'S LESSON ON PRESSING OUR HST BABIES, CLICKED ON THE RED HEART AFTER WATCHING IT, WENT TO MY ACCOUNT, CLICKED ON "MY FAVORITES"...AND IT WAS SAVED THERE! WOO! HOO! I GOT IT! THANX FOR YOUR HELP, DEBBIE!...AND MARGO FOR YOUR GREAT PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS! 8) 8) 8)

Oh, my hst's came today and what a thrill...been watching others comments and know how excited we all are. To think one person's idea has come to fruition and delighted so many people around the world, literally, is astounding. But then, we're quilters, right  ! A huge thank you to all concerned with first having the idea, then implementing it, the sorters/helpers/mailers, and everyone who contributed in any way. You will never know the DELIGHT I felt today sorting thru the hst's and seeing all the sisters and brothers names and where they came from. Can hardly wait to see how everyone uses these little bits of joy.

Awesome Swap!!!!! Great great job in sorting all of this. I can only imagine all the work. Ty ty for making this a fun quilting project. I guess I didn't find the golden ticket but The HST are all as good as gold. It's not everyday you get a piece of fabric from over 400 people's stash. Ty everyone who participate and special thanks for those who made this swap possible.

Post something on this thread for any missing or extra HSTs. Others from the exchange are going there and helping others out. You never know.

YIP PEE YEA ! I received my HST"s yesterday. All in very good shape. My son happen to call me right when I was opening them, I screamed I got my triangles and tried to explain the story behind them, he was very impressed. I am so thrilled about all the places my little HST's came from. Debbie, Clara, Margo, all the sorters, helpers, and families, THANK YOU for making this happen. Your works and all your extra efforts made this possible. Appreciate all the ideas and inspirations for the HST's.

I received my wonderful, wonderful triangles last Monday and every spare moment has been spent looking at them, seeing where they all have come from (40 states, 7 countries), and reveling in all the special people in this exchange. There are no words to thank all of you, especially Debbie, Clara and all the counters and sorters . I'm glad you can finally get back to quilting again. The information everyone has posted has really been helpful. Thanks to you all, I did get EQ7 and love it. After the videos and lessons, a friend brought an old quilt shop catalog with a quilt shown that she wanted to make for a friend. The kit was no longer available, and the quilt kit designers were no longer in business. EQ7 saved the day and I was able to recover the blocks for her--they had to be redesigned as they were not traditional blocks. This total immersion is a great way to learn EQ7,  I'm going to conquer this program or else. Thank you all again, you are wonderful.
