Hang in there! We're all clinging to the molding!   Given all the wonderful previous comments by everyone who has received their precious HST's, "THEY WILL BE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD!"

'In the Mail' update!!! I'm almost there in mailing all the U.S. packages to their new homes. I took another large load to the P.O. today and I was only waiting on Edyta's extra HSTs to get the rest of the packages in the mail. Her HSTs did come in today's mail, so all those packages have now been sealed and will go to the P.O. tomorrow. All I will have left are two packages awaiting additional postage.

It is so much fun to read all the comments from people who have received their HSTs. What fun we are having. I have not received mine yet but am not expecting them anytime soon as it seems to take so long for parcels to arrive from the US to me here in Canada--don't know why that is but I think maybe packages sit in customs sometimes depending on mail volume.

These are two of the possibilities for the HSTs. Haven't decided which one, but inclined to the one with the "striped" border.

Donna. I think your layout for your triangles is wonderful. Both look great.

Donna - your quilt renditions are really nice. I like the one with the striped border, too, but both are lovely. You're way ahead of some of us and good for you! I'm in the waiting bunch, but living vicariously through our SOTT friends as they receive theirs and share their joy and stories.

Oh, these are gorgeous examples! Love 'em both but am leaning towards the one with a striped border. Thanx for sharing!

I think that striped border is very clever.

Great eye candy...I love your layouts. And I think I like the striped border the best. I assume that these were done in EQ?? I bought EQ 7 just before this exchange started and I haven't been in the right mind set to sit down and try to learn it. I've never had EQ before and I'm so anxious to learn it. Maybe next week  .

Donna, love both your ideas. How many triangles will you be using :?:

SAVE THOSE THREADS YOU ARE CUTTING OFF OF THE HST EDGES!

I spent a lot of time yesterday and today ironing and trimming threads from all of my HSTs, and still have not gotten to the bottom of my enevlope! (Who said I was fast? ) But, today as I went to throw the current pile of cut theads into my watse can, I had a light bulb moment! Some of us make ATCs or post cards. Just imagine artistically using these thread cuttings from all over the world! Kind of like blood sisters, only we've become thread sisters, as I knead these bonus treasures together! Quick, go rescue them from the trash! I'm glad I did!

I like them both too. I haven't got that far yet, only thinking of layouts in my head! Nice to see some ideas.

what a fab idea - yup - sisters: hang on to those threads - maybe they could be integrated into the "triangle-signature" motiv - a great way to embellish all those signatures - the possibilities truly are endless
